Dear Friends,

Thanks for stopping by to check out my training and read some of the randomness. On April 18, 2009 I crossed the finish line of my first ultra marathon....The Leona Divide 50 Miler. On August 8, 2009 ran the Mt. Disappointment 50K. Training for and competing in these events were rewarding to say the least. The journey continues as I continue to train for endurance runs of 50 miles and more.

In a nutshell I'm doing this to test my perceived physical and mental limitations. I'm also wrapping a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society around these adventures. I know for a fact that this organization has saved lives and has helped thousands of families who are facing the challenge of their lives.

I'm running 50 miles and more in honor of the loved ones we have lost and those who continue to survive and thrive.

This is not a solo journey. I appreciate your support; both in terms of the dollars you donate to LLS and your words of encouragement.
