My second time running this beautiful race in Santa Monica Mountains Sycamore Canyon. This year's event featured muddy trails and fallen trees on the trails. The weather was perfect and I was a bit faster this year!

Dear Friends,

Thanks for stopping by to check out my training and read some of the randomness. On April 18, 2009 I crossed the finish line of my first ultra marathon....The Leona Divide 50 Miler. On August 8, 2009 ran the Mt. Disappointment 50K. Training for and competing in these events were rewarding to say the least. The journey continues as I continue to train for endurance runs of 50 miles and more.

In a nutshell I'm doing this to test my perceived physical and mental limitations. I'm also wrapping a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society around these adventures. I know for a fact that this organization has saved lives and has helped thousands of families who are facing the challenge of their lives.

I'm running 50 miles and more in honor of the loved ones we have lost and those who continue to survive and thrive.
